In the 9th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2025, a strange and dramatic 19th over has raised questions among fans and viewers. The match was between IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans (ITT) and Salem Spartans (SLST) at the SCF Cricket Ground in Salem on June 13. The Tiruppur Tamizhans were asked to bat first by Salem Spartans, and they compiled 177 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Tushar Raheja, the wicketkeeper batter of IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans stole the show by scoring 74 off just 28 balls and his innings comprised of eight fours and five sixes. The Salem Spartans, who were put under pressure in response, kept losing wickets at regular intervals. With 31 runs in the last 12 balls, the chase was no easy task and ITT were well ahead in the game. But then came a twist in the 19th over that altered everything. Esakkimuthu A, ITT's bowler, bowled an extremely poor over. It contained four consecutive no balls and conceded a sum of 25 runs.
