During the third ODI between the West Indies and England, the England players were seen riding bicycles to reach the stadium. England cricket took this method because of the extensive traffic jam on the streets of London. A few of the English players rented Lime rental bikes and rode to the venue. And for that that toss got delayed for at least 20 minutes. The team could not even had a pre-match net session. Prior to the toss, the ECB issued an official statement: "Due to a delayed arrival of one of the playing teams, who are stuck in heavy traffic north of the river, the scheduled start of play will be delayed. Once all members of the playing teams arrive, the match officials will coordinate updated timings and discuss any impact on the schedule of play. We will update spectators with the schedule of play as soon as we are able to." Meanwhile, the English team was perfectly on time and was seen playing football with the teammates. Later, West Indies Cricket Board too confirmed that it was the traffic congestion that delayed them However, the third ODI between England and West Indies at Kennington Oval, London, has been delayed again due to a problematic pitch, with rain now adding to the frustration. West Indies were 83/3 in 15 overs when play halted. Keacy Carty stood firm with 24 off 27 balls, while Sherfane Rutherford looked in fine touch, scoring an aggressive 33 off 30. Earlier, Brandon King and Evin Lewis gave a cautious start before falling cheaply. England is yet to bat, and the ground remains under covers as persistent rain keeps players and fans waiting.
