In the opening Test at Headingley, England staged a magnificent chase as they scored 371 runs in the fourth innings to seal victory. Their batting was class-acts as Ben Duckett made 149 while Ollie Pope hit 106 to help them take the initiative in the five-match series with 1-0. Jofra Archer Misses Training, Will Join Squad While in the meantime, England fast bowler Jofra Archer did not join England's training session on Monday at Edgbaston due to a family crisis. But the news is positive that he is likely to join the team on Tuesday, a day ahead of the match. He is expected to rejoin the squad tomorrow, Tuesday.” Archer had missed the first Test but was added to the squad last week for the rest of the series. He has had a tough time in recent years due to an elbow injury in his bowling arm. His last Test match was more than four years ago, in 2021, against India in Ahmedabad.
