In the latest development coming from England, they have made a major change to their squad for the fifth Test match. The England Cricket Team have recalled their star all-rounder Jamie Overton for the last Test match. The fifth and final match between these two teams will be played at The Oval, starting on July 31st. After some tremendous batting display from the Indian team in the fourth Test match, the visitors were successful in defending their pride while playing a draw. They successfully played out one and a half days, bringing out their best to keep themselves alive in the series. But not to forget, the Indian team is still trailing 1-2 in the series. They have added their all-rounder Jamie Overton to the 15-member squad that would be available for the match. Overton, who made his Test debut back in 2022, hasn’t been a regular first-choice pick for the team. But he will now join Gus Atkinson and Josh Tongue for the last match. The addition of Overton adds pace bowling depth to the squad. Apart from Overton, the rest of the players have retained their places for the fifth match. England, who are already leading the five-match series 2-1, will be putting in extra efforts after the resilient draw in Manchester.
