Duleep Trophy, one of India's premier domestic cricket tournaments, is going to turn out to be an exciting 2024 edition as BCCI comes out with a new format. Many experienced cricketers are expected to be in action, which adds to the excitement. Traditionally, the Duleep Trophy has been played by various zones of India; this time, though, the BCCI announced that the new format would comprise four teams playing in a round-robin format. Duleep Trophy 2024 Format: This year, BCCI has decided to scrap the six-team zonal format and zonal selections. So, Duleep Trophy will involve four teams: India A, India B, India C, and India D. These teams will be selected by the senior national selection committee, headed by Ajit Agarkar. This year's Duleep Trophy will adopt a round-robin league format, eliminating knockout stages. The team that finishes at the top of the standings after three rounds will be crowned the winner. Duleep Trophy 2024: Dates & Venues The upcoming Duleep Trophy will mainly take place at two venues within the Anantapur Cricket Ground complex in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. According to Sportstar, one match from the opening round is also scheduled to be held at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
