Travis Head has been a thorn in the sides of many a bowlers across the world, he has given sleepless nights specially to Indian bowlers. Out of all those Indian bowlers, one man stands out, Mohammad Siraj, recall the Adelaide saga in December 2024 when he was slaughtered with the pink ball by Head and then eventually dismissed the left-hander after which followed an animated send-off and then a heated exchange which was met by mixed reactions. The arrest - how it happened? Siraj was once again met by Head in Match 19 of IPL 2025 as SRH batted first against GT and first up was the big battle between Head and Siraj. Head french cut one past a diving keeper on his first ball against Siraj, a couple of balls later he toe-ended a wide and full one past short third riding his luck once more. A ball later he got one on his pads and chipped it straight to Sai Sudarshan at mid-wicket, the trademark Siu celebration followed from Siraj as the Orange Army went silent. It is not the typical Hyderabad pitch where you can come in and hit blindly as a batter and the struggling SRH top-order has gotten off to a sluggish start, something that you don't generally associate with them but it has been happening far too frequently in this season for their liking. Having lost Head and Abhishek, SRH now find themselves at 45/2 at the end of the powerplay with Ishan Kishan and Nitish Kumar Reddy now having the responsibility to steady their innings. This pitch does not look like one where you would get 200+ so SRH might just want to recalibrate.
