Jasprit Bumrah has proved to be India's best bowler. He came back from a serious injury to make a comeback where he dominated in the 2023 T20I series against Ireland. Since then, he has always been in the thick of things, winning both the Asia Cup and the 2024 T20 World Cup for India. With his role as captain Rohit Sharma's go-to bowler in difficult situations, Bumrah will be imperative in the forthcoming ten Test matches, two against Bangladesh, three against New Zealand, and five against Australia. He was also hailed by New Zealand Test captain Tim Southee on the eve of their India tour, who praised the way Bumrah bounced back after his back surgery and maintained his performance across all formats, labeling him as the best bowler in the world right now. Southee Stated: “To be able to firstly bounce back from the major injury and come back, he’s even better than what he was beforehand. Throw in on top of that, having to juggle multiple formats, can be difficult at times as well. He seems to have been able to do that with ease as well. He’s probably more experienced and understands his game a bit more. He probably had that time where he was injured to come back and be recharged, refreshed." the said: "We are just seeing a great version (of Bumrah) across all three formats. He’s brilliant across all three at the moment. I don’t think there’s anyone that he’s better in (better than him), he is tremendous across all three (formats)." Bumrah is currently resting from the Duleep Trophy. He will join the squad for the Bangladesh series but might not play both matches. The team management is monitoring his workload closely to ensure he stays fit for the entire Australia series. Also Read | Top 10 Highest Wicket Takers in International Cricket
