Rishabh Pant's former coach in Delhi Capitals, Ricky Ponting, has expressed his concerns about the keeper's foot injury, saying it is not a good sign. Rishabh Pant was retired hurt after a ball from Chris Woakes hit his toe. The toe was badly swollen, and he called a buggy to leave the field. Watching that, Ponting sensed a metatarsal injury, which he himself had during his playing days. Speaking to SkySports, Ponting said that those bones are normally soft and fragile. And that his foot swelled, adding more concerns. Pnting said, "He (Pant) hardly put his foot on the ground. The immediate swelling was the worry for me. I’ve had a metatarsal injury myself, and they’re small, fragile bones. The fact he couldn’t put any weight on it, it doesn’t look good at all." What happened to Rishabh Pant?
