Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the 14-year-old Rajasthan Royals' young gun, has emerged as one of the most discussed names for this year's IPL. RR bought him for ₹1.10 crore in the mega auction and went on to create history by becoming the youngest player to debut in IPL. Since his debut, Vaibhav has scored 155 runs in five matches for Rajasthan Royals. But then some confusion regarding his studies had recently crept in. A rumor began doing the rounds that Vaibhav had failed his 10th board exam. There was a lot of chatter on social media regarding this. The rumor originated from a fan page named "Satirelogy," which had uploaded a joke stating that the BCCI had requested a DRS-style review of his exam papers. The 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is yet to reach class 10. He is currently studying in Class 8 in Modesty School in Tajpur, Bihar. So, the rumor of him failing Class 10 exams is completely false. Vaibhav's Cricket Journey Vaibhav was born on March 27, 2011, in Tajpur village of Bihar. Vaibhav began playing cricket when he was merely four years old under the guidance of his father. He was enrolled at a cricket academy at the age of nine in Samastipur. His ability was soon discovered. At 12, he had amassed 400 runs in five Vinoo Mankad Trophy games. He became the fastest centurion as an Indian batter, and also the youngest ever to score a century, not just in IPL, but in this whole format. Vaibhav is now scheduled to play for Rajasthan Royals in the rest of the IPL games on May 18 and 20.
