MS Dhoni recently spoke at an event promoting his new phone contract where he chuckled about some of the most bizarre things that have been said about him. Among the most popular ones was that he consumed five litres of milk daily. CSK captain dismissed this rumour entirely. Dhoni was questioned what was the wackiest rumor that he ever came across, and he did not hesitate before responding with the milk rumor. The anchor itself got surprised hearing it was false. Dhoni continued that no human being could have such huge volumes of milk each day. Dhoni continued adding that it needs to be comprehended by individuals that such a statement is quite unrealistic. Responding to a question about ridiculous rumour, MS Dhoni said: "I drink five litres of milk a day." The CSK skipper added: "I used to drink, maybe, a litre of milk spread throughout the day. But four litres - it's a bit too much for anyone." Dhoni mocked the thought and made it clear that this never occurred as he do not drink lassi. And in fact, he had already discussed the milk rumor back in 2005 while giving an interview to ESPNcricinfo. During the early 2000s, when Dhoni initially gained popularity, most fans believed his fitness and powerful hitting were due to his diet, which consisted of five litres of milk daily. He soon became popular with powerful sixes and powerful batting, which shifted the perspective of people towards wicketkeeper-batter. Back then, Dhoni’s long hair and powerful strokes made headlines. His fitness and batting skills made him one of the most dangerous players in the world. Over time, he became one of the best finishers in the game, starting in the middle order for India in ODIs and later playing many key knocks. MS Dhoni Still Going Strong at 43 Now in his 43rd year, Dhoni is still physically capable of playing two months of hard cricket in the IPL. He hung up his boots in international cricket in 2020 but continues to play for CSK. This year, he has seemed more physically in shape than before, particularly with his knee issues in hand. He has been wonderful behind the wickets and taken some spectacular catches and stumpings. With the bat, he has made 134 runs from eight games with a strike rate of more than 150. But CSK has not played well in IPL 2025 yet. They have lost six of their initial eight matches. In order to remain in contention for the playoffs, they will have to win all their remaining six matches.
