The Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI), in collaboration with the Rajasthan Disabled Cricket Association (RDCA), hosted the first-ever “Divyam Cricket Awards – DCCI Physical Disability Annual Awards 2025” in Jaipur. The event was held at Hotel Clarks Amer and celebrated the contribution of differently-abled cricketers, coaches, administrators, and promoters of disability cricket. The ceremony marked a landmark step in formal recognition of disabled players at a national level. Following the noble step, DCCI, passed a generous message which said, "This is the first time that the Divyam Cricket Awards have been held to formally recognise and honour disabled cricketers. Going forward, these awards will be an annual feature. We believe this initiative will further uplift the prestige of differently-abled players in society. At the same time, much more needs to be done to strengthen their recognition, so that players develop an even stronger passion and sense of pride towards their game." It added, "The Divyam Cricket Awards are not only about celebrating achievements, but also about acknowledging courage, resilience, and inclusivity. This historic step will inspire generations to come and provide a stronger foundation for disability cricket in India."
