Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Delhi Capitals (DC) engaged in a thrilling game, with SRH winning the toss and opting to bat first. Things did not, however, go according to plan for them. SRH Struggles as Starc Shines SRH struggled initially, losing initial wickets to Mitchell Starc, who bowled superbly. They were in serious trouble till Aniket Verma and Heinrich Klaasen stabilized the innings with a crucial partnership. Aniket played a wonderful knock, with 74 runs scored by him off just 41 balls before he lost his wicket to Kuldeep Yadav. SRH could not cash in on Aniket's innings as they were bowled out for mere 163 runs. Starc was the bowler to watch out for as the left-arm pacer hailing from Australia claimed 5 wickets, his first ever five-wicket haul in T20 cricket. Kuldeep Yadav too came into action big time, collecting 3 wickets, as Mohit Sharma contributed 1 to the count. For SRH, Aniket was the the highest scorer with 74, followed by Klaasen who scored 32. They scored 81 without losing a wicket and were poised for an easy victory. But young spinner Zeeshan Ansari turned the match on its head with his mystery spin. He sent three top-order batters packing, Faf du Plessis (50), Jake Fraser-McGurk (38), and KL Rahul (15), dragging SRH back into the match. However, his efforts with the ball weren't enough as there was no support to him from other bowlers in their side. Abhishek Porel (34*) and Tristan Stubbs (21*) assured Delhi Capitals a convincing victory by seven wickets and 24 balls left. For Sunrisers Hyderebad, leg-break bowler Zeeshan Ansari was the only bowler who had a wicket to his name. The spinner ended the game with the figures of 3/42. With the second successive win, Delhi Capitals are now placed at the second spot in the table, just below RCB. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, are placed at sixth with one win and two defeats.
