Nissanka picked up 41 off just 24 balls. KL Rahul led from the front with a stunning 92 off 52 balls with eleven 4s and four 6s to take the game deep. Although wickets fell at the other end, Rahul hit boundaries all the way through to take the game down to the last over. Rashid Khan bowled a sensational spell, which changed the course of the match, picking up 3 wickets in his four overs with only 17 runs conceded, and his economical spell stunted the progress of the Delhi Capitals in the middle part of their innings. David Miller smashed an unbeaten 41 off 20 balls and it was the last over with Delhi Capitals needing just 2 runs from 2 balls with just two required at one point however, following a dot ball and then a missed-shot on the final delivery which ended in a run-out meant DC finish on 209/8.
