David Warner's love for Telegu films is not unknown, and reports are suggesting that the Australian top order batter is now soon to officially debut in Tollywood. As per a report by Gulte, during a recent pre-release event for the film Robinhood, Ravi Shankar revealed that David Warner will be making his debut in Indian cinema. While specifics about his role are undisclosed, fans anticipate that Warner’s energetic persona will shine through in an entertaining cameo. Earlier, Warner has been seen dancing in multiple reels with his family, having Telegu songs in the background. Srivalli has been one of the most popular reels made by him. His tenures with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League had made him way closer to the South Indian culture. Earlier, Warner was seen in an advertisement shoot with the "RRR" director SS Rajamouli. In that video, Warner was depicted as the lead role for one of Rajamouli's films, engaging in fights and dance sequences. Speaking about the upcoming film Robinhood, it is directed by Venky Kudumula, and is an action-comedy that offers a modern take on the legendary Robin Hood story. Starring Nithiin in the lead role alongside Sreeleela, the film also features Shine Tom Chacko, Vennela Kishore, and Rajendra Prasad. With music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and cinematography by Sai Sriram, Robinhood is set to release in theaters on March 28, 2025.
