Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka took the charge and led the way to victory for Harare Bolts over Bulawayo Brave Jaguars in an exciting match of the Zim Afro T10 league. Shanaka's impressive four consecutive sixes off West Indies T20 World Cup hero Carlos Brathwaite sealed the deal for the Harare Bolts. Shanaka chose to go aggressive on the required 19 runs off 18 balls. In the 8th over of the second innings, he started with an eye-closer as the ball flew way past the boundary of deep mid-wicket for six. Brathwaite looked like he was getting a hold of things when Shanaka squeezed out a yorker and smashed it over the long-on boundary for another six. Brathwaite tried to adapt to the bowling from round the wicket, but Shanaka didn't give up. He chipped the third ball over point boundary for his third successive six. With one run to win, Shanaka didn't hold himself back either. He sealed the game in style by hitting the last ball over the deep mid-wicket boundary for a well-deserved win for the Harare Bolts. They are doing so with a better net run rate than that of Nys Lagos, who also have six points. The Bolts will take on Nys Lagos at second place as they seek to increase their advantage at the top as they take on each other on September 25. The good form with the bat also comes at an important time for Shanaka as he will look to continue it when Sri Lanka plays international fixtures in the near future. For the former captain of Sri Lankan cricket team, his return to the team is a matter of a lot of eagerness and anticipation, and he is expected to make a great contribution as an all-rounder for the Sri Lankan Team.
