Chennai Super Kings managed to score only 103/9 in their 20 overs, a target the defending champions chased down comfortably in the 11th over to register an eight-wicket win. Notably, CSK had shown interest in Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre during the mid-season trials. However, there has been no official update regarding his performance in the camp. CSK will return to action on April 14, when they take on the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium.
