Chennai Super Kings have taken an action against one of their own net bowlers when few clips from their training sessions emerged online on social media during IPL 2026. It has been reported that the team had asked Delhi's wrist spinner Jishan Adil to take down all videos posted from CSK camp when many players and support members were increasingly sharing internal things online. IPL franchises and BCCI have been strict of late over social media activity during the tournament as many teams try to keep away unnecessary controversy, dressing room plans, strategies and preparations under wraps during the tournament. Jishan Adil has been part of the setup of CSK since last year as a net bowler and a spinner. The social media clips showed him bowling to various CSK batsmen in training and the clips became popular quite fast. A few even showed him disturbing the CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad in the nets. Jishan Adil Confirms CSK Asked Him to Remove Videos This became public as Jishan Adil himself shared a story on Instagram revealing that CSK management had asked him to delete the videos: "Hi everyone, as you all know that I have been posting my bowling videos from the CSK camp and thanks to you all they all got viral within a few days. Unfortunately, CSK management has asked me to remove the videos from my social media. Apologies for any inconveniences. I will keep posting good content in future as well. Thank you for all the support, please keep supporting!” The spinner agreed to the team's request and thanked the fans for their support towards his videos and added he will keep posting in future too. CSK consider the clips as team information and sensitive at the same time. Reportedly, the teams are wary of training sessions, dressing room videos and behind-the-scenes footage revealing team strategies or acting as a distraction to the players at crucial phases of the tourney. Even the BCCI is advising its players and team members to be cautious of the online contents and public appearances during the course of the IPL. More recently, Arshdeep Singh also made headlines for his vlogs and social media activity while playing for Punjab Kings. And the latest action by CSK against Jishan Adil just indicates how much franchises have started to come down hard to make the dressing room more disciplined and focus-oriented.
