As the IPL 2025 mega auction draws near, all teams are getting ready by formulating wishlists and opting for whom to retain. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK), who have won the IPL five times, will be looking to add two top Indian players. According to Indian Express, the BCCI might allow each team to keep five players, but there won't be a Right to Match Card (RTM). Many teams asked the BCCI to let them keep their important players during a meeting with team owners and IPL officials. CSK has planned to retain its key players along with MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, and others. The Yellow Army wants to add the services of Ravichandran Ashwin and Mohammed Shami in their team, according to Revsportz Global. CSK is hoping to upgrade their bowling with such players, though only if they won't be kept by their current teams.
