Keshav Maharaj received the Men's Player of the Year award. He took 40 wickets in seven Tests from August 2024 to January 2025. He was also a key player during South Africa's run to the T20 World Cup 2024 final, being their third-highest wicket-taker. Temba Bavuma, captain of South Africa for Tests, was awarded Test Player of the Year. He scored two centuries in Test cricket against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Heinrich Klaasen was awarded ODI Player of the Year after a solid performance before he retired from the format. Anrich Nortje received the Men's T20I Player of the Year award. Nonkululeko Mlaba Dominates Women's Awards Nonkululeko Mlaba had an exceptional year and was awarded Women's Player of the Year and Women's T20I Player of the Year. She was the second most wickets taken in the Women's T20 World Cup with 12 wickets. Mlaba also claimed 10 wickets in a Test match against England, which is the first by any South African female. Other award winners are Annerie Dercksen (Women's ODI Player of the Year), Ottneil Baartman (Men's Newcomer), and Ayanda Hlubi (Women's Newcomer). Domestic Players' Player of the Year went to Dewald Brevis, while Kagiso Rabada and Nonkululeko Mlaba emerged as Players' Player of the Year in the men's and women's lists, respectively.
