On Saturday, Cricket Australia announced a 14-member squad for the Women Ashes starting from January 12. The team excluded Sophie Molineux, the spin allrounder who has been suffering from a knee injury. She will undergo surgery on his left knee, as reported by Kate Beerworth, the Australian Women’s physiotherapist. Molineux suffered from the injury during the home series against India, and Grace Harris came in for the three-match T20I series. Shawn Flegler, the Head of Performance and National Selector for Cricket Australia, expressed satisfaction with the team's recent results against India and New Zealand. He also shared his excitement about Alyssa Healy’s return to the team in the series against the White Ferns, following her absence in the India series.
