Saim Ayub, the talented left-handed opener from Pakistan, has been named as one of seven overseas signings by the Jamaica Kingsmen for this year's Caribbean Premier League (CPL), which is set to take place from August 7 to September 20. So far, Ayub has played 67 T20Is for Pakistan and will be joined by fellow countrymen Usman Khan, Hunain Shah, and Maaz Sadaqat, along with his teammates Hassan Khan and Shayan Jahangir from the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Hyderabad Kingsmen, who were the runners-up in this year's tournament. The Jamaica Kingsmen have also signed 19-year-old Pakistani batter Tayyab Arif, who was part of the Hyderabad franchise during PSL 2026. These new overseas signings will be joining stars like Andre Russell in the Jamaica squad, which has been finalized after the franchise was given the green light to recruit top local talent without competition in the draft. As they return to the CPL, the Kingsmen will kick off their campaign with a match against the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown on August 7.
