Pakistan Cricket Board has decided upon ticket prices for the ICC Champions Trophy to be staged, ranging from PKR 1000 that translates into Indian currency roughly around INR 310. The details of these ticket prices have been disclosed through an internal document of PCB possessed by PTI. The document doesn't say the cost of tickets for games to be held in Dubai, selected as a neutral venue to stage India's matches. A semi-final and final could be staged in Dubai also if India advances to that stage. In Pakistan, tickets for the General Enclosure at Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi are priced the lowest at PKR 1000 for all matches. But the General Enclosure ticket price for the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi has been increased to PKR 2000 (INR 620). For the semi-finals, this price has increased to PKR 2500 (INR 776). VVIP tickets are priced at PKR 12,000 (INR 3726) for all games but will cost PKR 25,000 (INR 7764) for the semi-finals. Premium enclosure tickets are set at PKR 3500 (INR 1086) for Karachi, PKR 5000 (INR 1550) for Lahore, and PKR 7000 (INR 2170) for the Pakistan-Bangladesh game in Rawalpindi. VIP enclosure tickets will cost PKR 7000 in Karachi, PKR 7500 in Lahore, and PKR 12,500 for the Bangladesh match. The host country would earn revenue from the ticket sales and hospitality box revenue, in addition to hosting fees paid by the ICC. Dubai is hosting India's matches; therefore, PCB would retain gate money and hospitality box revenue for those games. ECB would be compensated with operational costs including ground rent. An insider said: “The ECB will obviously advise the ICC and PCB on the ticket rates for different enclosures in Dubai and what prices should be charged for hospitality box sales before announcements are made." The much-awaited India-Pakistan clash is scheduled for February 23 in Dubai, and the PCB is confident that this match will generate significant revenue.
