Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hopes that the ICC would finalize the schedule of Champions Trophy 2025 so that they could make optimum logistics arrangements for the teams that would compete there. It has been pretty long since Pakistan has hosted an ICC tournament and fans are highly enthusiastic. The PCB has emphasized to the ICC that the schedule finalization should be completed within time so that the ideal logistical plan is made. According to a report in Tribune, provisional bookings have been done on the basis of proposed schedule prepared by the ICC. The schedule for Champions Trophy 2025 may be announced by the ICC in the next month's end. It is also anticipated that the Chairman of Pakistan's cricket board and Jay Shah are set to meet in October at the end of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024. This tournament features Group B with the presence of England, South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan. BCCI is still awaiting consultations with the Indian government to confirm participation for this tournament. Men in Blue have not played in Pakistan since 2008. The showpiece event will begin on February 19 and will end on March 9 unless the reserve day, March 10, is required. Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi will be the three venues hosting the matches.
