Dwayne Bravo, the leading wicket-taker in T20 cricket, has revealed that he will retire from the CPL after this season. The 40-year-old shared the news just hours before Trinbago Knight Riders' first game of CPL 2024 against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in Basseterre. Bravo posted on Instagram "It's been a great journey. This season will be my last one and I'm looking forward to a playing my final professional tournament in front of my Caribbean ppl" "TKR is the place where everything started for me and will end with my team. Bravo currently is the record holder for most CPL wickets with 128 wickets in 103 games, averaging 22.40, and an economy rate of 8.69. In 2023, Bravo announced his retirement from the IPL and has since been the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings. At 40 years old, Bravo is the most successful player in CPL history, with five titles to his name, including three with TKR. Indeed, he will be eyeing a fitting farewell in the CPL-a fourth title with TKR.
