The cricket career of Monank Patel has reached its final stop. Patel, who was born and raised in Anand, Gujarat, left India more than ten years ago to start a new life in the United States. The 32-year-old now leads the USA cricket team as their captain during his return to India to compete in a World Cup match which will take place on Indian territory. The impossible task has become achievable, but the upcoming work will require enormous effort. Patel has become a major focus because the T20 World Cup will start in India. India serves as the central hub for global cricket, and players who perform well in this country can achieve significant goals which include obtaining an IPL contract. Patel sees this World Cup as a chance to achieve success while also building his career. The 32-year-old hotelier from Atlanta, Georgia, who plays in the World Cup said: "It is a great feeling to come to India and play in the World Cup. As a kid, I always dreamt of playing a World Cup, but I never imagined doing so in India while representing the USA. It's a great feeling not just for me, but for many players in the team. We're really excited to play in the World Cup." The USA team has deep roots in India, as there are nine players of Indian origin in the team. Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of India, had positive feelings regarding the team comprising players of different origins. The Indian captain said the team has traveled to the USA, where monetary benefits are available. "They've gone now to the land of dollars, but I see it from a good perspective. It's good that people are getting an opportunity. Even though they're playing for other countries, it's a good opportunity for them. I've played a lot of cricket with them. But right now, we're having fun in our own cricket." They surprised Pakistan in the last World Cup, which allowed them to advance to the Super 8 stage of the tournament. The team managed to achieve 12 victories out of 20 matches, which resulted in a strong win rate of 60 percent despite the off-field challenges that occurred within USA Cricket. The current American cricket team represents the best group of players who have ever played for their country. New players like Saiteja Mukkamalla, Shehan Jayasuriya, Sanjay Krishnamurthy, Mohammad Mohsin and Shubham Ranjane have added depth and balance to the side. The greatest obstacle now stands directly before them. In India, the top-ranked T20I team remains unstoppable because they dominate their home matches. India has won 80% of its games after Suryakumar Yadav took over as captain and the team comes to the tournament after winning three consecutive bilateral series. The Wankhede Stadium will provide perfect conditions for batting during the match. Experts believe a 300-run T20I total is not far away at this venue. The underdog USA side would have benefited from low-scoring matches, but Mumbai presents the exact opposite scenario. India’s bowling attack increases the difficulties which opponents must face against India. India's bowling staff includes Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya and Varun Chakaravarthy, who can handle all stages of the cricket match. The team management is even considering playing two wrist spinners, a move that could further tighten the grip. India faces historical challenges during their campaign. No team has managed to keep their T20 World Cup championship, and host nations have never succeeded in winning this tournament. Suryakumar handled the pressure situation with calmness. Suryakumar said: "Yes, everything runs in everyone's mind. But at the same time, you have to be in the present as well. You have to see what you want to do on the given day, what kind of cricket you want to play. That is, I think, very important. Just stay in the present. Have your feet where you are. Stay grounded, because when you're playing at home." The USA match is of immense importance for Monank Patel and his side as this match will give out the conclusion on whether they would be able to win matches. India will have a dream of rewriting the history just like MS Dhoni's team did in 2011 World Cup instead.
