Fans were livid as Ishan Kishan was not a part of the playing eleven in the Duleep Trophy. They requested India's head coach Gautam Gambhir and the chief selector Ajit Agarkar to give him another chance. 'Bring Back Ishan Kishan' hashtag was trending on X just hours before the second round of the Duleep Trophy began Thursday morning. In a surprising decision, Ishan Kishan was added to the India-C playing XI squad for their Duleep Trophy match against India-B. This news came out after the toss on the first day. Kishan was added to the squad on Wednesday and had already joined the team for practice the day before. A good performance in the Duleep Trophy will give him a realistic chance to make a comeback into the Indian team again.
