Star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been the standout bowler of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Australian batters have failed against Bumrah in the series so far. Jasprit is the leading wicket-taker of the series so far, as he is leading the charts with 21 wickets. On the note, Australian legend Brett Lee praised Bumrah for his brilliant bowling in the BGT 2024-25. Brett Lee placed Bumrah right above the other bowlers in the world he said: 31-year-old bowler is miles ahead of any other bowler. Here is what Breet Lee said on Fox Sports "He is world class, Jasprit Bumrah. Unfortunately, they had no Mohammed Shami, but I think the backing of Mohammed Siraj—there has been a bit of conjecture around him—but I think he has bowled really well," “In my opinion, they have an attack that has some good pace bowlers, but the reason why people say or think he is shouldering the whole load of the attack is that he is so good. He (Bumrah) is miles ahead of any other bowler, and that is no disrespect to the other bowlers going around, but that is how good he is,” Lee added. He has been sitting at the top with 21 wickets in just three matches. He has been very tough for the Australian bowlers to play against; the likes of Usman Khawaja and young opener Nathan McSweeney looked out of clue against the Indian pacer. He has been the key man for the Indian team in the series, as on many occasions he stood tall and pulled things back to India; the prime example is the Perth Test. In the match, Indian batters failed to score runs, but Bumrah showed his class and helped India to make a comeback, and eventually India won the match by a huge margin. Not in Perth; he also bowled a brilliant spell in the first inning of the Gabba Test, where he picked up six wickets in the first inning. He was the warrior for the Indian team as he got very little support from other bowlers.
