The cancellation of the India vs Pakistan match at the World Championship of Legends (WCL) of 2025 has not yet been settled and the former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh was spotted dining in a Pakistan-based restaurant in Birmingham. Notably, India was supposed to play a match against Pakistan in WCL at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham On July 20. However, owing to the tensions followed by the brutal Pahalgam attack, Shikhar Dhawan quit the match, and the match was finally called off. In the heat of the moment, Harbhajan Singh was seen having dinner at a restaurant named Lal Qela, located at 730A Alum Rock Road, Aston B8 3PP. The restaurant is a privately held UK company registered in 2015 and currently has a single director and majority shareholder listed as Muhammad S. However, there is no confirmed public record that the owner(s) are Pakistani nationals, even it suggests South Asian origin. Well, the restaurant is mainly popular for its Desi food and is believed to sell Pakistani food mostly. Lal Qela also posted a video of Harbhajan Singh, where he was seen praising the food he had there.
