Behind the repugnant aggression of Digvesh Rathi, the young rookie scouted from the Delhi Premium League, has a calm yet attacking side of his personality. Yet, what caught attention was Rishabh Pant's wit while he acted as a translator for his young teammate, Rathi. It's not new for captains to walk up as translators for their fellow teammates. Axar Patel, the present captain of Delhi Capitals, once had his former captain, Shreyas Iyer, as a translator during the later's DC days. Even Priety Zinta, the owner of Punjab Kings, then Kings XI Punjab, translated for Axar Patel when he was in her troop. And now it came to Captain Rishabh Pant for Lucknow Supergiants' "kiddo," Digvesh Rathi. Ian Bishop, the presenter, asked general questions, starting from Rathi's mindset to inspirations and game planning. Rishabh, wittily translated for both of them. Rathi, in his way, answered that he loves taking wickets more than just restricting from the other side and credited his captain for the planning he did before taking Naman Dhir's wicket. He also mentioned Sunil Narine's name, his way of bowling, and his attitude that inspires Rathi a lot. But the real click came when Bishop asked Rishabh to convey his good wishes and appreciate Rathi's performances. Bishop told Rishabh to say, "Please convey our appreciation and excitement with which we look at this young man. Top Job!" And then Rishabh turned towards Rathi, patted him, and translated the long sentence in three-word Delhi style, "Bohot tagda khela!" Digvesh Rathi was the only man to maintain an economy of 5, when others revolved around 10 to 11! Even Avesh Khan, the man of the final over, had an overall economy of 10! Rathi took Naman Dhir, who looked like a menace with his shots, got dismissed at 46. After that, the sole responsibility of the chase fell on Suryakumar Yadav. Well, just another notebook celebration from Rathi; he got him a 50% match fee fine and another demerit point. The first one he got when he did the celebration, brushing shoulders with Punjab Kings' Priyansh Arya. Currently, he has 2 demerit points. If he gets 5 more demerit points, he will be banned for a match.
