MS Dhoni has spoken on regional language commentary in the IPL. The former great cricketer said he mostly listens to English and Hindi commentary and does not go very far into the various others, while he wishes to listen to Bhojpuri and Haryanvi commentary. He also explained how he is limited to commentary in English and Hindi while watching a live match because there are hardly any replays. He finds these languages easy to analyze the game. Thus, he likes to hear the comments made by the commentators, most of whom are former cricketers who really know the game well. They offer their insights based on a lifetime of watching tournaments and matches. MS said to JioHotstar: "I haven't listened to regional language commentary much because when we watch live matches, replays are limited, and most of the commentary I hear is in English or Hindi. That helps us analyze the game better. Personally, I also like listening to what commentators say because most of them are former players." He also accepted that a lot of fans enjoy the commentary in their regional language. The former CSK skipper concluded by saying he would love to listen to some Haryanvi commentary.
