Team India and Australia are gearing up to face each other in a pink-ball Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25. This second Test match is scheduled to be played in Adelaide Oval in Adelaide from December 6. In the opening Test match of the BGT, India completely dominated the hosts and registered a comfortable 295-run victory on the 4th day. He was awarded Sheffield Shield Player of the Year last summer for his brilliant performance throughout the past year. Continuing the momentum from where he left off, he has been doing outstanding in this year’s Sheffield Shield as well. During the first Test match, Marsh suffered some minor injuries and he is yet to regain his full fitness. Although there is enough gap for the second Test match and Australia will be hoping to see him back, it’s still uncertain if he will get fit or not. Webster might replace Marsh for the second Test match. He has already scored 1788 runs including five tons and nine half-centuries in the last two seasons of Sheffield Shield, he will be high on confidence to get a chance and prove his calibre. Recently he also played a brilliant knock of 61 and 49 in the two innings with the bat and also picked up five wickets against New South Wales.
