The BCCI has decided India's team for the second Test against Bangladesh. They are retaining the same squad for the match to be played in Kanpur on 27th September. There has been a talk about KL Rahul's place in the team after how he performed in the first Test at Chepauk. Still, the selectors are giving him another chance and it would be interesting to see if Sarfaraz Khan finds place in the team in place of him. India skipper Rohit Sharma said before the first Test against Bangladesh that his side would follow the same route it used in the Test series against England earlier this year. Senior spinner Ravichandran Ashwin did a superb job, taking six wickets as India crushed Bangladesh on the fourth day of the first Test to win it convincingly and take the series 1-0 ahead with one Test match still left. India had declared their second innings at 287 for 4, boosted by centuries from Rishabh Pant (109) and Shubman Gill (119), giving them a lead of 514. Team India's next Test series will be against Bangladesh and New Zealand at home, followed by the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.
