The Indian team management has permitted fans to watch their training sessions in Perth. This comes after an Australian media report claimed that Team India had requested a closed-door practice, which would have prevented even the construction workers and other staff at Perth's WACA Stadium from watching or taking photos of the training. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has firmly dismissed these claims, stating that India’s practice sessions at the stadium are open to the public. In contrast, a source close to the BCCI told PTI that no such request has been made by the Indian team management. As quoted by PTI, the source on the condition of anonymity said: "Neither from India or from India A such a request, at least on official capacity, has gone demanding closed-door net sessions. The practice session is open to all. The Indian and Australian media can watch and cover for as long as they want. There is no such restrictions till now.” The Indian team management has announced that fans will have the opportunity to watch their center-wicket training sessions from Friday through Sunday. During this period, an intra-squad match between India and India A is also scheduled. India is set to begin their five-match Test series against Australia on November 22 at Perth Stadium. The pitch is expected to be green and bouncy, offering more assistance to the fast bowlers.
