The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has adopted what has been perceived as an 'invisible boycott' policy for its matches against Pakistan in the current edition of the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates. India and Pakistan are set to clash in the finals of the continental tournament on Sunday, September 28, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The reports have said that BCCI will have an invisible boycott policy, since none of the officials from the board will be present at the venue to observe the summit clash in the 17th edition of the Asia Cup. This policy of boycott was first tested before the Group A encounter between India and Pakistan. Rather than calling off the match altogether in the wake of tension between the two nations, the BCCI had decided to keep senior office-bearers in the dark from camera exposure.
