After discussions with the PCB and the BCB, and after listening to all sides, this decision has been taken." Shukla said the outcome showed that dialogue and cooperation can help protect the spirit of the game especially during a global tournament like the World Cup. ICC Meeting Plays Key Role The ICC gave an official statement on Monday which confirmed that its meeting with PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi and Bangladesh Cricket Board officials had been open and constructive and friendly. The meeting dealt with several topics that required cautious handling. The ICC stated that Bangladesh needed to miss the T20 World Cup which was an unfortunate situation that would not affect Bangladesh's international cricket standing.
