The India Under-19 Men's Team will be playing three One Day International matches and three four-day red ball matches against Australia. Recently, the Board for Cricket Council for India has announced the squad for the tour. The Mumbai prodigy batter from Chennai Super Kings, Ayush Mhatre, has been chosen as the captain of the team. Vihan Malhotra will be touring as Mhatre's deputy. Mhatre had been leading the team during the England tour and has been pretty impressive. He was the highest run getter for the team in the Test series, piling up 340 runs in four innings. He scored a fifty and two centuries. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals star batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi topped the ODI list of batters with 355 runs. It included therecord breaking fastest century in youth ODI history. Vihaan, appointed as Mhatre’s deputy for the Australia tour, delivered standout performances in England, amassing 243 runs in the ODI series and 277 in the Tests across formats. Well, even though the Test series did not yield any result, India won the Youth ODI series by 3-2. As per the Australia tours, all the matches will be played at Norths, while the final Youth Test match starting on October 3, will be played at Mackay.
