India will be playing the 2025 Rising Asia Cup tournament from November 14th to 23rd in Qatar. For that, the Board of Cricket Control in India has announced a 15-man squad led by Jitesh Sharma.   Jitesh Sharma, who is currently touring with the senior men's team in Australia for the five-match T20 series, has been chosen as the captain, having Naman Dhir as his deputy. The Bengal-born Abhishek Porel will be travelling with the team as a backupkeeper.   The batting has been strengthened with firepower like Nehal Wadhera, Ashutosh Sharma, Priyansh Arya, and Ramandeep Singh. The most notable inclusion in the top-order batting is Vaibhav Sooryavangshi.   Playing for India U19, the right-handed batter hammered a sensational 52-ball century against England in Worcester — the fastest hundred ever recorded in Youth ODI cricket. However, India A are drawn in Group B alongside Pakistan A, the UAE, and Oman.
