Batting great Sunil Gavaskar has given a massive verdict on the Champions Trophy 2025 winner and surprisingly it's not Team India. Sunil Gavaskar feels Pakistan are the favourites to win the Champions Trophy 2025 title, given the favourable home conditions. A former India captain feels that playing at home will be a huge advantage for Pakistan. The Champions Trophy will be hosted in a hybrid model. Most of the matches will be played in Pakistan except those involving India. The BCCI had refused to visit Pakistan and, subsequently, the International Cricket Council (ICC) had announced that it would hold the Champions Trophy in hybrid format, with India's matches scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates. They were almost dominant throughout the tournament, except for the final match. India had entered the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 and were considered hot favorites to win the trophy. They played their final and suffered defeat in the final clash held at Ahmedabad to the mighty Australian.
