Bangladesh have declared an unchanged team for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan, after their 2-1 series win against Sri Lanka. Pakistan already reached Dhaka, where the three games are to be hosted at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium on July 20, 22, and 24. The games are to be played under floodlights. The Bangladesh team landed in Dhaka on Thursday, fresh from an eight-wicket triumph over Sri Lanka in Colombo, which turned the tables on a 1-0 deficit and won the series for them. Litton Das became the first Bangladesh captain to have two overseas T20I series victories to his credit, having earlier this December also led the country to a 3-0 whitewash against the West Indies. The batting order of the hosts is in fine shape with Tanzid Hasan, Litton, Towhid Hridoy, and Shamim Hossain all chipping in against Sri Lanka. In bowling, off-spinner Mahedi Hasan marshaled the attack in the third T20I with 4 wickets for only 11 runs. Rishad Hossain and Mustafizur Rahman also did well, ending the series with economy rates under 6.00 an over. Also Read | Who Introduced the Bowler's Salute After a Five-Wicket Haul in Cricket? Conversely, the Bangla Tigers' recent T20I record against the Men in Green is not as positive with them having been defeated 3-0 in a series in Lahore earlier this year. Pakistan have a dominant overall record against Bangladesh in T20Is, winning 19 out of the 22 matches between the Asian giants. Bangladesh will also keep an eye on the pitch situation in Dhaka since the city has been hit by heavy monsoon rains, which could affect the grounds.
