The third umpire took ample time to declare Shubman Gill out! It happened when Shubman Gill tried steal a run, but Harshal Patel at the short fine leg was too fast to pick up the ball and throw it to the SRH keeper, Henrich Klassen. And the confusion rose here. Shubman was way far from the crease, but the dilemma was if the ball was gloved or not! On receiving the ball, Klassen, without even turning his back, threw it to the stumps. To the naked eye, it looked like the ball slipped out of the glove when the bails lit up. The third umpire looked closely, literally examining if the ball's trajectory had deviated after the bails lit up. Watching the slight deviation, the third umpire called him dismissed. But it did not go well with him. He literally walked up to the umpires asking for clarifications. Shubman Gill walked out scoring 76 runs off 36 balls, hitting 10 boundaries and 2 sixes, maintaining a strike rate of 200.
