Pakistan is likely to rest their big players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, and Naseem Shah for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe. This decision came after Pakistan’s victory in the second Test of their ongoing home series against England. Led by Shan Masood, the team finally ended their winless run in Test matches. Notably, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Naseem Shah were already rested for the second and third Tests of the series. Pakistan cricket has been facing a challenging period, with recent struggles in both the T20 World Cup and Test matches. Changes in the management have also added to the upheaval.
