The former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has praised Babar Azam in his way to show his admiration for the former Pakistan skipper. He further added that Babar Azam definitely belongs to the list of modern-day great cricketers which are usually referred to as the ‘Fab-four’ or even the ‘Fab-five’. He further mentioned that Babar Azam’s consistent performance across all the formats is something that makes a modern-day great cricketer. However, many experts and fans have tried associating Babar Azam’s name with the list of ‘Fab-four’ seeing his achievement list or opined that the list should be extended to ‘Fab-five’. As quoted by CricketPakistan.pk, Kane Williamson said: "Babar Azam is certainly a part of the ‘Fab Four’ or ‘Fab Five,’ which consists of some of the finest players in the game. He is a world-class batter who consistently delivers for his team.” Kane Williamson returned to his batting form with a blistering century ( unbeaten 133 off 113) and clinched a victory for his team against South Africa in the Tri-nation series. His partnership of 187 runs with Devon Conway ( 97) played an important role in the victory. With this victory, New Zealand made it to the finals which is set to be played on Friday, February 14 and their other opponent will be decided in a virtual semi-final encounter between Pakistan and South Africa.
