Cricket Australia (CA) has released a 16-member squad for the two-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. The four players were withdrawn from the originally selected squad: Marcus Stoinis, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, and Mitchell Marsh. Mitchell Marsh's replacement is provided in the list, and thus, he'll be missing a series along with the subsequent Champion Trophy. For the two guys Hazlewood and Cummins, injury leave them. A shocking news concerning Stoinis who announced their retirement from playing ODI games. Sean Abbott, Ben Dwarshuis, Spencer Johnson, and Tanveer Sangha will vying for one of the final three positions to complete the contingent. They should have chances to produce their stuff over the Sri Lankans, at least ODIs. At present, Australia is led in the Tests in Sri Lanka by Steve Smith and the selected eleven for ODIs does not provide a leader although it seems evident that he can be here with the usual ODIs skipper Cummins sitting out.
