Cricket Australia has confirmed the playing XI for the second Test at Adelaide. After suffering a humbling defeat of 295 runs to India at Perth, Australia is eyeing to balance the series with the 1-1 scoreline. In fact, winning the Test at Adelaide will write Australia's fortune for the World Test Championship final as well. The second Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy will be played at Adelaide Oval on December 4. It will be a day-night pink ball test. As said earlier, the team has made only one change. They have included Scott Boland in the team in place of Josh Hazlewood. Hazlewood has been ruled out due to a 'low grade left side injury." However, his injury is not that serious, but Australia management is not ready to take any risk. Notably, Australia has never lost a pink-ball test, and Hazlewood was one the main men behind those wins. Coming to fill Hazlewood's shoes, he will partner the pace duo Mitchell Starc and skipper Pat Cummins. Shifting focus to batting, Australia looks to ignore minor injuries as both Marnus Labschagne and Steve Smith suffered blows during the net sessions. Adding there will be issues with Mitchell Marsh, as the team won't be likely to use will while bowling.
