Australia and India gear up for the fourth test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. This test match will be held on December 26, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Going into the game, there had been some uncertainty over whether Travis Head would be able to play because of a minor injury. However, Head has been cleared for play and will be one of the playing XI for the Boxing Day Test. Australia also has debutant Sam Konstas in the playing XI, while Scott Boland returns to the playing XI. Australia's captain Pat Cummins announced the playing XI and gave an update about Travis Head's fitness. He confirmed that Travis Head is fit to play in this crucial match against India. To Cricbuzz, Cummins said: "Trav's good to go, he'll play. He just ticked off some final things today and yesterday. But no worries about injury with Trav. He'll go into the game fully fit." He added: "I don't think you'll see too much management of him throughout the game. He just kind of plays as is. Maybe around fielding, if he's a bit uncomfortable, we will (manage him), but he's fully fit. It feels like the last 12 months, he's been in this unbelievable vein of form and he just keeps going on with it."
