Australian cricketers David Warner and Pat Cummins are expected to head back to Pakistan and India to play the rest of PSL 10 and IPL 2025. Both players left a bit earlier due to the situation of the conflict between India and Pakistan that was severely strained, which was blamed for suspending the matches of the two leagues for a short while. The news coming through says that the PSL and IPL have now been planned to resume on May 17, and Warner and Cummins respectively are examples of the Australian players who are coming back to complete their commitments. In reference to Mail Online, Warner has already made it public that he will be rejoining Karachi Kings for the remainder of PSL 10. Also, Cummins' participation in the rest of IPL 2025 has been mentioned by the publication, with the bowler assuming the captain's role back for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Further, the Australian cricketer's agent Neil Maxwell verified that Cummins had indeed agreed to come back and continue with his duties as the captain of the SRH team. Maxwell said: “Pat has a responsibility as captain of the franchise and is looking at returning.” Warner was one of the Australian players who were forced to leave Pakistan because of a dispute just before the Indian missile strikes took place in multiple places. The situation was such a mess that 4 players had to abandon their kit and luggage. As of now, Warner’s Karachi Kings are in the 2nd position on the PSL 10 points table.
