Sanju Samson scored a vital knock after batting at number three, which is not his regular position as an opener. He made adjustments to the role and stabilized the innings with a smooth half-century.   Samson's 56 runs off 45 balls, with three sixes and three fours, was the highlight of the inning as he timed his shot beautifully to get India a healthy total on the board, putting the team in a commanding position against Oman in this crucial encounter.    Oman Bowlers Restrict India Under 200 in Asia Cup 2025   Oman put up a determined bowling effort against India during the 12th Group A match of the Asia Cup 2025. Hardik Pandya was unfortunate to get run out at the non-striker's end, while Shivam Dube failed to make much contribution.    Sanju Samson, who opened instead of his regular number three spot, was impressive with a composed half-century, leading the scoring with 56 from 45 deliveries that consisted of three sixes and three fours. In an interesting turn of events, captain Suryakumar Yadav did not bat below number eleven, an unusual choice that raised some eyebrows. Oman's bowling, spearheaded by Shah Faisal and Jiten Ramanandi with two wickets each, and Aamir Kaleem with a tight spell, kept India below 200, giving the Oman team a great amount of confidence in the game.
