Debutant Oman is all set to lock horns with Pakistan in the fourth match of Asia Cup 2025. The match is scheduled to be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, DICS at 08:00 PM IST. The game will be a tough one for Oman as they lack match practice, having played their last T20I seven months ago. Pakistan, on the other hand, have played their last match a few days ago that too in UAE. Pakistan's skipper Salman Ali Agha flips the coins and it lands in the favour of Pakistan. Skipper Salman opts to bat first aiming to put on a huge total against Oman. Oman too was willing to bat first, but having lost the coin toss, it will be an uphill battle for Jatinder and his men to restrict the run flow. Here's what the captains said at the toss: Salman Ali Agha: "We are going to bat first. It looks like a good pitch and we want to put the scoreboard pressure. We have been playing good cricket for last 2-3 months, the team is coming together and we want to continue that. We have three proper spinners and three all-rounders. When we bat first we want to put above par totals." Jatinder Singh: "We would have batted first. It is a historic moment for us to come and run shoulders with the Asian giants. (on putting the team together) It was a challenge six months ago, but the boys were so hungry to perform and grab the opportunity. It is a spin-oriented side."
