Travis Head's explosive century in the fourth innings of the Perth Test really shook up the England bowlers. The home team chased down a challenging 205-run target in just 29 overs, finishing with eight wickets in hand. With this impressive victory, Australia now leads the five-match Ashes Test series 1-0. On a lively pitch, England might have felt confident after securing a 40-run lead in the first innings. However, their dismal performance in the second innings opened the door for the Aussies, and Steve Smith and his team took full advantage. Head wasn't initially slated to open the innings, but with regular opener Usman Khawaja sidelined due to a back spasm during the match, the left-hander was called up. The 31-year-old rose to the occasion, blasting 123 runs off just 83 balls, including 16 fours and four sixes. He was eventually dismissed by Brydon Carse, but by that point, the outcome was pretty much decided. The second Test between Australia and England is set to kick off on December 4. This one will be a pink-ball match, taking place at The Gabba in Brisbane.
