England crushed Australia by 186 runs in the fourth ODI at Lord's. The opening duo saw a perfect start for them as Ben Duckett scored half-century, while skipper Harry Brook played aggressive cricket, scoring 87 off 58 deliveries. Later on, as the match ended in 39 overs because of rain, Liam Livingstone showed his skills and hammered an unbeaten 62 off 27 deliveries. His cracking knock also included hitting 28 runs in the final over of Mitchell Starc. Livingstone dominated towards the end of the first innings, helping England post a massive total of 312 runs on the board. When it came to the chase, the Australian batters lacked character as seven of their batters failed to score in double digits. They suffer an embarrassing defeat as the series is now locked level at 2-2. England skipper Harry Brook appriciated his team after beating Australia in the fourth ODI match of the series. He said that the team has gotten all the momentum now. Ducky (Duckett), we know how good he is, up top he's unbelievably tough to bowl to. We know what Livi (Livingstone) is capable of at the back end and he showed it beautifully tonight,” Brook said in the post-match presentation. “They (England bowlers) bowled beautifully. On an interesting wicket, we got a few too many over par but they bowled beautifully, they smashed the lengths beautifully and they got the rewards. He (Jofra Archer) was bowling quick tonight as well, it was good to watch with a bit of swing and seam movement, hopefully, we can see that a lot more going forward. It's always nice to be scoring runs, you think a bit more clearly when you are playing well,” he added. Now England will face Australia in the 5th and last ODI of the series in Bristol on 29 September and they will be looking to seal the series with another victory over the Australian team.
